Healthcare IT: Improving the Patient Experience
Bob Bausmith, Managing Partner at Netsoft-USA, will be speaking at the New England HIMSS event on May 11, 2012. He will be sharing his perspective on how the patient experience will be affected by payer innovations in the areas of Value-Based Benefits, Value-Based Provider Reimbursement, and Network Design.
Other topics to be covered at the event include Meaningful Use, Healthcare Reform, and other changes across the healthcare continuum that may ignore the patient. The goal of the event is to highlight the work being done in the region where HIT is improving the patient experience at home, in the clinician's office, and in the hospital.
Bob is currently a Managing Partner and part-owner at Netsoft USA, a strategic technology and design firm with offices in New York City and Eastern Europe. He has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare and technology industries as the Chief Systems Architect at Aetna and UnitedHealth Group, a principal consultant at IBM and CSC, an entrepreneur and an inventor.
